Tilly (b. 1997, London) is a self-taught contemporary painter based in the UK. The AuDHD artist studied English Language & Literature at the University of Oxford (BA & MSt), before working in journalism. Tilly left her former career in April 2023 and began painting full-time shortly after. 

Tilly is best known for creating playful, expressive abstract artworks as well as figurative paintings characterised by a bold, naive and minimalist style. As of 2025, she has been focusing more acutely on text works. These most frequently take the form of scrawled iPhone notes written in digital red pencil, or acrylic paint stick on cardstock and canvas. 

Tilly works intuitively, using acrylics alongside a variety of other materials. Drawing and collage support a practice centred on curiosity and play. Exploring her neurodivergence is highly important to her work. She is endlessly inspired by children's artworks and aims to embody a similar level of freedom in her own creative sessions. She is right-handed but often uses her left in support of this goal.
